Tier List Hub

The Tier List Hub helps Waterpark Simulator players spend cash where it moves rating, not where the build menu sparkles. After the July 31, 2026 1.0 launch, parks juggle custom slides, Beach map zones, night mode, diamond objectives, and new staff types. These lists compress that decision space into practical ranks you can argue about in co-op voice chat between placing Pirate props.

What we rank and why

Attractions value lives on the Attractions Tier List. It compares thrills, pools, food touchpoints, and prestige landmarks for guest impact versus operational burden.

Upgrade order lives on Upgrades Priority. Cleaning and repair strength often beat vanity unlocks when your diamond climb stalls.

Staff composition lives on Staff Roles Tier List. Cleaners and lifeguards are not glamorous; they are how custom slide parks survive.

None of these lists replace layout skill. A top-tier diving board above a broken splashdown still fails—pair rankings with the Build Hub, Custom Slides, Pool Layout, and Prestige Builds.

How to use tiers without dogma

Tiers assume a typical progression toward diamond stars on Steam, PlayStation 5, or Xbox with optional online co-op for two to four players. If your save is a meme chaos park, S-tier cleanliness upgrades still matter; you just might ignore mascot rankings on purpose. If you are speed-running Beach frontage, bias toward attractions that raise capacity and income quickly, then respec your spending toward prestige showpieces.

Re-check tiers after major unlocks on the Map page and after theme kit expansions in Items. Night mode can raise the value of lighting and security-related coverage even when the attraction list stays the same.

Hub reading order

  1. Skim Attractions to pick the next build target.
  2. Open Upgrades Priority before you bankrupt the park on décor.
  3. Align Staff Roles with the traffic those attractions create.
  4. Return to build guides to place the winners correctly.
  5. Recheck diamond objectives so spending matches active quests.

Ranking philosophy

We reward attractions that raise fun without creating unmanageable rescue or trash load, upgrades that multiply every worker you already pay, and staff roles that close the biggest rating leaks first. We penalize shiny objects that demand three new hires and a loan. Ocean, Aztec, and Pirate themes are graded as identity multipliers, not automatic S-tiers—consistency beats crate spam.

Use this hub as the debate table. Pick a list, make a purchase, then go prove it in the park while ragdoll guests stress-test your theory.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Which tier list should I read first?

Start with Attractions if you are choosing what to build, Upgrades Priority if cash feels wasted, and Staff Roles if payroll is the bottleneck.

Do tier lists change after the 1.0 diamond rating update?

Priorities shift toward prestige-capable attractions, stronger cleaning/repair upgrades, and security once parks chase diamond stars.

Are themed props ranked here?

Themes are treated as multipliers inside attraction and build planning. Identity helps, but only after operations are stable.

Can co-op teams ignore these ranks?

You can meme, but shared wallets still benefit from agreeing which S-tier upgrades and roles protect the save.

How often should I revisit the lists?

After Beach unlocks, major slide projects, night-mode adoption, or whenever rating stalls despite new décor.
