Quick start

New to the park? Follow this loop before you expand.

  1. 1

    Learn the opening-day loop

Sell the right tickets, mop puddles, restock food, and stop bracelet cheaters before you expand. Start with the Getting Started guide, then lock in PC or console controls.

  2. 2

    Build a clean operating circuit

Place your first pool, a safe slide exit, bins, and a food stand on one walkable loop. Use Build and Pool Layout pages so guests never trap you on the far side of the park.

  3. 3

    Hire before you overbuild

Cashiers, cleaners, and lifeguards multiply your time. Follow the Hiring Guide and Staff Planner so Beach map expansion does not drown you in trash and rescues.

  4. 4

    Climb stars toward diamond

Track cleanliness, fun, food, and décor with the Star Checklist and Stars & Diamond guide. Spend research and upgrades on throughput before vanity props.

  5. 5

    Master 1.0 systems

Custom slides, night mode overtime, Ocean / Aztec / Pirate themes, and online co-op change how parks scale. Read Updates and Multiplayer before your next big rebuild.

FAQ

Wiki FAQ

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What is Waterpark Simulator?

A first-person management game from CayPlay Studios where you build slides, hire staff, serve guests, and chase higher park ratings with chaotic ragdoll physics. Version 1.0 launched on 31 July 2026 for Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Is this an official wiki?

No. This is an unofficial fan resource. For patches and announcements, use Steam news, the official Discord, and CayPlay channels listed on our Links hub.

Which languages are supported?

This wiki supports: English, Français, Deutsch, Español. Configure locales in site.meta.json and run npm run generate:i18n.

Where should absolute beginners start?

Read Getting Started, then PC Controls or Console Controls. After your first profitable day, open the Cleaning Loop and Hiring Guide before expanding onto the Beach map.

Does the game support multiplayer?

Yes. The 1.0 release adds online co-op for 2–4 players so friends can share tickets, cleaning, building, and chaos. See the Multiplayer Co-op guide for role splits.

How do I reach diamond rating?

Stabilize five-star operations first, then use the Stars & Diamond guide, Attractions Tier List, and Star Checklist to finish late objectives without letting cleanliness collapse.
